Braj Chaurasi Kos Yatra In ancient india 'Kos' was the unit of measuring distance. So, '84 Kos' means 252 kilometers long pilgrimage of Braj region that has Vrindavan, and its 12 vanas (forests), 24 upvanas (groves). This journey also includes numerous holy places along the banks of the divine River Yamuna, the sacred hill Govardhan, Mathura birth place of Lord Krishna), Mahavan, Baldeo, KusumSarovar, Barsana & Nandgaon etc.
This Yatra brings an insight into the whole life journey of Lord Krishna, the places where Lord Krishna born and mentioned, did his Lela's etc. This journey also gives the Punya (blessings of the char dham Yatra as once Nandji and Yashodha Mata expressed their desire before Lord Krishna to travel for char dhamyatra.
